Establishment and History of ISMSi and ISMS
Integrated Security Management Systems, Inc., the company behind ISMS, is located in Annandale, Virginia, just fifteen miles from Washington, D.C., and is managed by a group of senior security and computer professionals. The company's resources are devoted solely to the on-going development of ISMS and its capabilities. The company has maintained a full time Product Development and Technical Support staff since its inception.

ISMS was the first commercially available software product developed exclusively for the support of government and commercial security officers in the protection of U.S. Government classified information. First set up in 1987, ISMS is now installed at many government agencies and their contractors; and supports collateral, special access and SCI environments.



Product Updates
ISMS is under constant improvement and enhancement in response to customer needs, changes in the security regulations, and the constant evolution in computer hardware and software technology. Updates to ISMS software are periodically made for modifications and enhancements. We provide database upgrade utilities with each new release of ISMS to ensure that all earlier releases are upwardly compatible to new releases. All licensees have the right to order updates to ISMS software for each licensed application. All updates are part of the licensed applications and are available to licensees.



Customer Requested Modifications
ISMSi recognizes that many organizations have special needs, driven by internal or external requirements, and stands ready to enhance the ISMS software in response to your needs. Functionality of ISMS is controlled by configuration and setup switches, thereby enabling support of special needs for a few customers without impacting on the functionality or appearance for other customers not requiring those functions. At ISMSi we don't say to customers "that's the way it works." We ask "how do you want it to perform, and why do you want it to perform in that manner?"
